The international dimension is always an indispensable element in the studies of a student. This principle applies itself especially to musicians and dancers, who by a profound contact with other cultures and other repertoires can expand their artistic world and enrich their abilities of interpretation and creation.
The conservatory actively contributes to this international artistic cultivation: it has developed a long tradition of openings and exchanges.
Many partners have in this way been established in Europe and beyond:
Luxembourg Conservatory of music, National Music Conservatory "Noor Al Hussein" of Amman in Jordan, National Superior Conservatory of Music of Beirut and Ghassan Yammine school of music of Beirut in Lebanon, Institute Superior of music of Sousse and Institute superior of music of Sfax in Tunisia.
As well, in 2006/2007 the first exchange with a university in the USA- University of Minnesota Duluth, School of Fine Arts - has taken place.
Since 2005 the conservatory has equally opened its doors to an exchange program with Erasmus and therefore has furthermore enlarged their partnerships in Europe: Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal...
Concerning the European level, for all at the time contribute to the influence of french musical traditions and to introduce their students to other musical horizons, every year the conservatory organises a week of Rencontres Européennes which includes concerts and master classes specifically aimed to encourage moments of sharing and social interaction.
Finally it is necessary to emphasize the active participation of the conservatory with the AEC (European Association of Conservatories).
These partnerships (numbered and varied) help to create a network of strong bonds between students and professors, source of enrichment so much on a personal plan as a professional one.
